I was relieved this morning to learn that Gordon has headed to higher ground with the dogs and important equipment.
Glad to know too, that the New Orleans police were given paid time to get their families to safety. Now they can return to the city to protect and serve as they are sworn to do, without worrying about their families.

Yes, I bet you do miss him. I have four children: 2, 7, 13, 16. I don't even like to think about them moving out (which I know they will eventually do! :-) I told Gordon before that I envy him since he is able to go out and travel and help people firsthand. We need more people like Gordon, otherwise, we would be clueless as to what is really happening in our country. The mainstream media isn't reporting all of the info. that Gordon has posted regarding War Veterans and the victims of New Orleans. I had no idea that the devastation was due to faulty levees until I met Gordon on here. You must be extremely proud of your son and all that he has accomplished. :-)
